The European Union is often perceived as a muddled, politicised and bureaucratic concept. As part of its work with institutions of the European Union, Twelve Stars created the Captain Euro cartoon character in order to present a friendly and non-political image of Europe to the world.
As in, lulling us into a sense of security, safe with the knowledge that an entity capable of creating something such as Captain Euro is in no way a threat to anyone?
On a side note, I could never get enough of gay twin villains in my superhero stories. Thank goodness for Castor and Pollux!
