Wow, the internet is just the same in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Sitting here on day two of the Flash class, waiting for things to get rolling.
Went to lunch yesterday, ordered an iced tea, waitress asked if I wanted it sweetened or unsweetened. I generally toss a couple packets of sugar into my tea so I chose sweetened. That was a bad decision. What landed on the table was this foul sugary sludge with a slight iced tea taste.
For those of you from the South... how the hell do you drink that stuff?

My friend's mom used to make sweet tea for us. She had to heat the tea up 3 times to add more sugar each time. When it was thrown on ice a lot of it would fall out of solution. In the bottom of a 1 gallon pitcher we would find about a half cup of left over sugar, after the tea was gone.
Sweet tea is the best beverage ever! See, while the tea is still hot you can dissolve more sugar into it than after it cools. So instead of a crunchy sugar tea you get the authentic sweet tea. Yum. But if too sweet for you maybe bother the server to cut it half sweet half unsweet. Heh. I wonder what kind of reaction that would get?
