Only considering the days before the NES, I definitely have to vote for the Slik Stik! That thing ruled for Ataris! If I recall, you still have a few Slik Stiks lying around.
The worst controllers of all time (in no particular order):

Nice. I should have remembered to put those babies in with the other three. I always hated trying to play Parsec on my Ti-99 with those stupid things.
